Roelif initially got the idea to bring someone in to demonstrate how to preform the Heimlich after a rotary member choked on his lunch a while back during a meeting and someone had to perform the maneuver on him. Rick and Ruth showed the group how to properly perform the maneuver on anyone and the different methods you can use to attempt to dislodge food trapped in someone's throat.
