Program Chair Mick McNamara with LaSalle Peru Superintendent Steve Wrobleski
Mr. Wrobleski spoke to our rotary group about LaSalle Peru High Schools hope to build a sports complex. He also answered questions from anyone who had conerns about the funding for this project. He made it clear that the school did not intend to use the funds from the potential 1% tax increase to pay for the complex. The thought of a sports complex in our area should be exciting news for all community members. LP high school could work in conjunction with surrounding schools so that all of our children benefit from it. Another thing to remember is that the sports complex could also potentially be a source of revenue for the high school and community.
