tomajAJ Voth is a volunteer for Engineers Without Borders. As a volunteer with EWB-USA, AJ has visited Guatemala, Mexico and Honduras to help work on various sustainable engineering projects.

For 30 years, A.J. Voth of St. Charles, IL worked in manufacturing and product development as a mechanical engineer. These days, he goes to places like Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico where he helps those less fortunate as a volunteer for Engineers Without Borders-USA.

AJ, who helped form the EWB-USA Chicagoland Professional Chapter five years ago, has been on seven international trips to work on projects such as bridge construction and water and sanitation systems.  AJ got involved after realizing he could use his abilities to help those in need through sustainable engineering projects.
