mickmarciMarci Duro, Executive Director of IVAC, presented an update after being in her office for 6 weeks.
To date, Marci has spent a significant amount of time listening and observing to become informed and caught up on current happenings at IVAC.  She has visited many businesses and organizations including IVCC and local manufacturers.  The retention and expansion visits include a questionnaire used to assess the needs of the area.  The survey and resulting database of information are overseen and sponsored by Ameren.  So far the biggest challenge for Marci has been acclimating to the acronyms and legalese as well as sorting through the large number of incoming email.  One of the main projects currently being worked on is a update to the IVAC website.  Stay tuned!
