Mark Cross a current member of Peru Rotary spoke to our group with an unbiased and impartial opinion concerning the potential LaSalle County 1% Sales Tax increase. He gave the members only facts about the sales tax increase to help them make an educated decision on whether to vote for or against the tax. Mark explained the following; 1) legal tax history 2) how the tax worked 3) the purpose and use of the funds 4) the pros and cons. After his presentation Mark along with Simon Kampwerth (Peru Rotary Member) and Jim Renk (Peru Rotary Member) answered questions the members had concerning the sale tax increase.
